Coming into this class I didn't know what to expect. I knew I only took it because it was easy GPA booster which adviser call easy A class. Then it's a 3-hour class I knew I couldn't sit in class for that long. Keep saying I hope this teacher not boring and they make the class fun. Now its the first day of class and looking at the syllabus I thought it will be pretty good class. one unique thing about this class is instead of us just handing you papers you turned it around and made us create a blog. I was excited about creating my blog and doing the first entry. I think I was so excited because love telling people about myself and all great thing I did or currently doing now.
Blog assignment number 2 was easy for me. One reason why is because I have so many memories from when I was younger. but that specific one I would never forget. I have a love/ hate for this time of year in December but Christmas is my favorite holiday. Reading your comment was little confusing to me when you stated for future writing assignments, consider slowing down and being as specific as possible. I would like to see your grandma struggling with the wrapping paper, have a better understanding of what she was like, as well as seeing the experience the next day, with you trying really hard to pretend that you were excited when you really weren't then I realized she will be hard to please or I just have too little more effort in my work for future assignments.
Blog assignment number 3 that's when I start experiences I had struggle with certain things but I knew I had to find a way to figure it out.it was fun creating these mini-stories using on giphy.com. I was just playing around with the different effects and emojis cause it was my first time using this site.
Blog assignment number 4 writing an entry about your favorite picture I actually sent that letter to my best friend. her reaction was priceless. I didn't learn anything from this but I can say the assignment had taught me to explore more and stop trying to go the easy way out.
The podcast was one technology multimedia things I learned. also, how to walk with a partner that really don't care about the assignment or class they just want to get the work done. I'm a person that takes pride in my work. this project also taught me that I should have started the recording early so anything we didn't that needed change we could have been redone it.
we I learned about sounds effects, storytelling, storyboarding, narrating, and audio. Being in this class I finally got to use iMovie. I always use to play around with it on my iPad for fun but never did a project on there. I'm happy because if I ever have to use iMovie it wouldn't be a struggle for me because of some experiences with it. Even with the additional resources, you provided for us I will use even after this class.
It was a pressure to meet Daisy Johnson & Rebecca. As stated in a previous blog spot Rebecca was more open than Daisy. Both of them are great poetry artists.
My favorite lesson/ assignment was the homecoming podcast. Simply because it had me wondering what happens next. I can't wait until they come out with season 2. I still have some unanswered questions such as. Do I want to see where the story goes, like where is Walter, how did they really "lose" Walter? I think they should come out with tv show or movie about homecoming I would be excited to see it instead of listening to it.
I wish we had 2 more weeks to work on our final project. The due date came little too fast for me. maybe because I was struck by topic for like 2 weeks. I know we talk about the video throughout the semester but I feel like we should spend more time talking about it and you help us in class. this semester was a good class. I think my fellow classmates made this class because of we all this different type of talent.I feel like at Rutgers you going to luck up with one great, most laid back class with everyone that has positive vibes and that's what made this class memorable. THANKS YOU !!!!
Dear Terranni,
ReplyDeleteYou have accomplished a lot over this last semester. You were consistent about your projects, creative in your ideas, and smart in your decision to pursue the topics that interested you most. I'm glad you enjoyed the class, and I agree that three hours is tough...But you hung in there, and you've produced some good work. I hope you will consider keeping your blog going. Best wishes...
